President's Message
Greetings, fellow CCW Members.
The theme of this message may appear somewhat odd, given the fact that the purpose is to strongly encourage you and your staff to attend our 2012 Catholic Cemeteries of the West convention and yet our 2011 convention ended barely 4 months ago.
So, why the early “nudge?” Simply put, next year we will be celebrating our 25th Annual Convention at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Fresno California, and this will be an event you will not want to miss! Each year, our convention gets better and better, and with next year’s event being our 25th, we plan on adding some special highlights that you won’t soon forget.
If for some reason the convention its self is not enticing enough, note that the room rate will make this one of the most affordable venues we have had in a long time ($109/night, no parking fees; free WiFi; and no resort fees). Also, being in Central California makes it a very convenient location with Fresno Yosemite International Airport less than 15 minutes away.
In review, this will prove to be a stellar educational and professional development opportunity; it will be the most affordable it has been in years; and it will be easy and convenient to attend. What more needs to be said?
Whether or not you have already set your 2011-2012 budget, I sincerely hope that you will see to it that CCW takes a high priority and you will make a point to spend a few days with your fellow Catholic cemeterians and vendors next Spring. Mark your calendars today. You’ll be glad you did.
So, mark you calendars today for the week of March 26, 2012! See you in Fresno.
Blessings,
Rick Davis, CCCE
